Aquinas is 7-0 against Rootstown since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Aquinas Knights will square off against the Rootstown Rovers at 7:00 p.m.

Aquinas is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 12th straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They came up short against Ursuline, falling 75-50. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Knights have suffered since February 2nd.

Meanwhile, Rootstown earned a 52-39 win over Springfield on Saturday.

Aquinas' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Rootstown, their victory ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-2.

Aquinas beat Rootstown 57-49 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Aquinas since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
