Recap: Clark Chargers vs. Indio Rajahs
The Clark Chargers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 67-11 victory over Indio on the road. The result was nothing new for Clark, who have now won four matchups by 27 points or more so far this season.
Clark's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ariana Brown, who scored 24 points along with nine steals and five assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which Brown has scored at least 25% of Clark's points. Trinity Tavita was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
The win was the third in a row for Clark, bringing their record for this year to 8-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.7 points per game. As for Indio, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
Clark and Yucca Valley will face off at 1:30 p.m. on December 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Yucca Valley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 218th in California, while Clark is ranked 27th in Nevada). As for Indio, they will be playing at home against Desert Hot Springs at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
