Football Recap: Centennial Titans vs. Heritage Coyotes

Suggested Video

Centennial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a 43-14 loss at the hands of the Heritage Coyotes. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Titans of the 47-24 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

Although Centennial took the loss, they still got scores from Jacob Stover and Truitt Eckert.

Centennial didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. Eckert picked up that interception and then proceeded to rub salt in the wound by taking it back the other way for a touchdown. He also made eight total tackles, which is notable because Centennial is 2-1 when he posts at least four total tackles, but 1-6 otherwise. Jackson Graham was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making 11 total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Tatum Bell Jr continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Heritage, picking up 158 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Joshua Greek was another key player, throwing for 220 yards and four touchdowns.

Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Heritage, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-5.

As of now, neither Centennial nor Heritage have any future games scheduled.
