Soccer Recap: Harrisburg Academy Find Success

The Harrisburg Academy Spartans were able to grind out a solid win over the Mercersburg Academy Storm on Friday, taking the game 4-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Harrisburg Academy.

They hit Mercersburg Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Amira Appel (2), Acadia Catherman, and Addison Rosenberg.

Harrisburg Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Mercersburg Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Harrisburg Academy will face off against York Country Day at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Mercersburg Academy will be paying especially close attention to the Spartans' matchup: after the Spartans face off against Christian School of York, they'll take on Mercersburg Academy again at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
