Football Recap: Appleton West Takes a Loss

Appleton West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the De Pere Redbirds 43-6. The matchup marked the Terrors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Appleton West's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for De Pere, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Appleton West will challenge West De Pere at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Terrors will need to watch out since the Phantoms have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for De Pere, they will head out on the road to face off against Green Bay Southwest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
