 Baldwin is 0-6 against North Allegheny since April of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Wednesday. The Baldwin Highlanders will look to defend their home field  against the North Allegheny Tigers at 5:00  p.m. The last six games Baldwin has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
 On Tuesday, Baldwin sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  7-6  win over Pine-Richland.
  Anna Schumacher spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned  (and one unearned) runs on four hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in six consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Jordan Gerendash, who  went 2-for-3 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.
 Meanwhile, North Allegheny won against Butler  on Monday with seven  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Tuesday. North Allegheny came out on top against Canon-McMillan by a score of  7-3. The  victory was nothing new for North Allegheny as they're now sitting on three straight.
 Baldwin's win  ended  a  four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 4-8. As for North Allegheny, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with that  victory, which was their third straight  at home.
