Football Recap: North Butler Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for North Butler, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They managed an 18-14 win over the South Winneshiek Warriors on Friday. For the Bearcats, this counts as revenge for the 35-14 victory the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

North Butler pushed their record up to 1-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.8 points on average over those games. As for South Winneshiek, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
