Volleyball Game Preview: Clear Lake Warriors vs. Chetek-Weyerhaeuser Bulldogs

The Clear Lake Warriors will challenge the Chetek-Weyerhaeuser Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Clear Lake sitting on 12 straight victories and Chetek-Weyerhaeuser on three.

On Monday, Clear Lake beat Washburn 2-0.

Meanwhile, Chetek-Weyerhaeuser narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Cumberland 2-1.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Chetek-Weyerhaeuser got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-19, 10-25, 15-10.

Clear Lake's victory bumped their record up to 25-8. As for Chetek-Weyerhaeuser, their win bumped their record up to 15-17.

Clear Lake took their victory against Chetek-Weyerhaeuser in their previous meeting back in October of 2017 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
