Softball Recap: Curtis Takes a Loss

Curtis lost against South Kitsap back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Curtis lost 19-1 to South Kitsap. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Curtis saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Celeste Tavese, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI. That triple marked the first that Tavese hit this season.

Curtis' defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for South Kitsap, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Curtis is set to take on their familiar foe Sumner at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, South Kitsap will square off against rival Emerald Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
