Volleyball Recap: Evergreen Park Find Success

Evergreen Park picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Von Steuben Panthers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Evergreen Park found their leader in freshman Quinn Carlson, who had 13 digs. Those 13 digs set a new season-high mark for Carlson. Rahsaan Davis also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Evergreen Park's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Von Steuben, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Evergreen Park will square off against Bradley-Bourbonnais at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Evergreen Park is facing Bradley-Bourbonnais at the right time seeing as Bradley-Bourbonnais is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Von Steuben, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on Niles North at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
