Softball Recap: Cedar Cliff Colts vs. State College Little Lions
Cedar Cliff had lost ten straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 0-13 to make it 11. They came up short against the State College Little Lions, falling 11-3. The Colts were not able to make up for their loss to the Little Lions from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.
Teagan Garber was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Alaina Tarnoci also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
As for State College, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11.3 runs.
