Basketball Recap: Eric Britton Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat University School of Milwaukee

Living Word Lutheran proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by 55) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged the University School of Milwaukee Wildcats out 61-58. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Timberwolves have posted since February 17, 2024.

Living Word Lutheran's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Eric Britton led the charge by going 7 for 13 en route to 16 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Easton Oliver, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 14 points and three steals.

Living Word Lutheran's record is now 9-3. As for University School of Milwaukee, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Kingdom Prep Lutheran the next time they take the court. Living Word Lutheran will host Kingdom Prep Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, while University School of Milwaukee will host them at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
