Volleyball Game Preview: Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets vs. St. John Eagles

The Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets will take on the St. John Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Monday, Catholic of Pointe Coupee got the win against North Iberville by a conclusive 3-0.

Meanwhile, St. John made easy work of Louisiana School for the Deaf on Monday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the War Eagles: they've now won three in a row.

Catholic of Pointe Coupee now has a winning record of 13-12. As for St. John, their win bumped their record up to 12-14.

Catholic of Pointe Coupee skirted past St. John 3-2 when the teams last played back in September of 2023. Will the Hornets repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
