Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Shea). They blew past Varsity Opponent 51-16 on Thursday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Shea to victory, but perhaps none more so than Keondre Silva, who rushed for 63 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. Alexsandro Rodrigues was in the mix as well, providing Shea with two touchdowns.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Shea's defense and their seven sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Kayson Goncalves and Noah Navarro, who racked up six sacks between them. Navarro also set a new season high mark in total tackles with ten.

The victory made it two in a row for Shea and bumps their season record up to 3-6.

Shea's homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Chariho at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Varsity Opponent, they are on the road again on Saturday to play Long Island Lutheran at 12:00 p.m. Long Island Lutheran is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 33.1 points per game this season.
