Softball Preview: Deep Run Wildcats vs. Hanover Hawks

Deep Run is 0-6 against Hanover since March of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Deep Run Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hanover Hawks at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Deep Run comes in on five and Hanover on 14.

Deep Run stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. Everything went their way against Freeman as Deep Run made off with a 14-8 victory.

Baulsir has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive pitching appearances. In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kaileigh Byars, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Meghan Deshazo was another key contributor, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Deep Run has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.
