Baseball Recap: Clinton Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Clinton Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 12-1 to the Tri-County Academy Rebels. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Rebels this season, with their most recent loss being a 14-1 defeat on Friday.

Clinton Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Tri-County Academy, the win was the 18th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Clinton Christian Academy will take on rival Central Hinds Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Tri-County Academy is set to face off against their familiar foe Riverfield Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Rebels 2.3, the Raiders 2.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
