            Volleyball Recap: Eagle Valley Devils vs. Glenwood Springs Demons        
        
		
        
        
            For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Eagle Valley and Glenwood Springs have met, but the home crowd finally got their W  on Tuesday. The Devils lost  3-0 to the Demons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Demons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-2  two weeks ago.
 The  3-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by exactly two points. The final score came out to 25-23, 27-25,  25-23.
 Riley Weatherred paced Eagle Valley's offense, picking up 21 kills. Weatherred got some help from  Ansley Hopper and her 21 assists.  Cadence Aguilar controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Eagle Valley's defeat was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Glenwood Springs, the  win was  the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-2.
 Coming up, Eagle Valley will take on Golden in a tournament  on Friday. As for Glenwood Springs, they will head out to  take on Summit  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
