Basketball Game Preview: Mifflinburg Wildcats vs. Loyalsock Township Lancers

Mifflinburg hasn't had much luck against Loyalsock Township recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Mifflinburg Wildcats will venture away from home to square off against the Loyalsock Township Lancers at 7:30 p.m. Mifflinburg has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 193 points over their last three matchups.

Last Monday, Mifflinburg was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 68-67 to Lewisburg.

Meanwhile, Loyalsock Township escaped with a win on Saturday against Selinsgrove by the margin of a single free throw, 46-45. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lancers.

Loyalsock Township's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Mifflinburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Mifflinburg suffered a grim 73-47 defeat to Loyalsock Township in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Can Mifflinburg avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
