Basketball Recap: Young Americans Christian Extends Home Winning Streak to Four

It's playoff time, and Young Americans Christian had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 72-64 victory over the Fideles Christian Rangers on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 72-69 back in December of 2024.

Several Rangers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Xander Lipinski, who went 10 of 19 to rack up 27 points and seven rebounds. Eli Shadburn was another key player, dropping a double-double with 17 points and 11 boards.

Young Americans Christian's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.8 points over those games. As for Fideles Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-20.
