Volleyball Recap: Bell Takes a Loss

Bell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Legacy Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in March.

Bell took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-20, 27-25.

Bell's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Legacy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Bell will take on rival Garfield at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Legacy is set to challenge their familiar foe South Gate at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
