Basketball Recap: Whitesboro Takes a Loss

After flying high against Valley View last Saturday, Whitesboro came back down to earth. The Whitesboro Bearcats took a blow against the Paradise Panthers on Tuesday, falling 56-23. The Bearcats haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Whitesboro's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Paradise, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-9.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Whitesboro Bearcats challenge the Callisburg Wildcats at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Paradise, they will square off against Valley View at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Paradise is facing Valley View at the right time seeing as Valley View is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
