Basketball Recap: Kenedy Now 10-2 over Last 12 Games

Kenedy won the last time they faced Refugio, and DJ Williams did his part to make sure it happened again. The Kenedy Lions blew past the Refugio Bobcats 72-49 on Tuesday thanks in part to Williams, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 19 rebounds. Kenedy is 8-4 when Williams posts ten or more boards, but 6-13 otherwise.

The team also got some help courtesy of Karsen Reyes, who went 7 for 15 to rack up 16 points and six steals. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Kenedy is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches, which provided a massive bump to their 14-17 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.9 points over those games. As for Refugio, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.

As of now, neither Kenedy nor Refugio have any future games scheduled.
