Basketball Recap: NCSSM: Durham Unicorns vs. Voyager Academy Vikings
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask NCSSM: Durham). They snuck past the Voyager Academy Vikings with an 83-77 win on Tuesday. The victory almost wasn't to be: the Unicorns were down 57-41 in the third quarter.
Alex Caza continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double with 27 points and 14 rebounds. Those 27 points gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Nikhil Nanduri, who posted 11 points and seven steals.
NCSSM: Durham was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
