Basketball Recap: Collegiate Charter School of Lowell Has No Trouble Against Pioneer Charter School of Science

Collegiate Charter School of Lowell won the last time they faced Pioneer Charter School of Science and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Collegiate Charter School of Lowell Wolves strolled past the Pioneer Charter School of Science Panthers with points to spare, taking the game 51-34.

Despite the defeat, Pioneer Charter School of Science saw an underclassman step up: freshman Dina Gharouadi almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 11 rebounds. Those 11 boards set a new season-high mark for Gharouadi. The team also got some help courtesy of Sara Yamani, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.

Collegiate Charter School of Lowell's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Pioneer Charter School of Science, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7.

Collegiate Charter School of Lowell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 49-25 win against Community Charter School of Cambridge on the 3rd. Pioneer Charter School of Science has also already played their next match, a 52-32 victory against Innovation Academy on the 30th.
