Shelton came into Saturday's matchup looking for another win against Deshler, but Kaden Kleen wouldn't allow it. The Deshler Dragons came out on top against the Shelton Bulldogs by a score of 51-43 on Saturday thanks in part to Kleen, who went 6-for-11 to rack up 18 points and seven rebounds. Those 18 points gave him a new career-high.

Another player making a difference was Easton Nash, who posted ten points and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last eight games he's played.

Shelton lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Harper Thober, who went 6-for-15 on his way to 17 points and six boards. Ben Myers was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and 11 rebounds.

Deshler's record now sits at 11-7. As for Shelton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-7.

Deshler has already played their next game, a 65-16 victory against Giltner on the 11th. As for Shelton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 66-4 win against Harvard on the 14th.
