Recap: Crestview Bulldogs vs. Milton Panthers
The Crestview Bulldogs were the 68-57 winner over the Milton Panthers when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. Crestview fell 55-48 to Milton on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Crestview has scored all season.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Makhi Jones, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds. Adell Johnson was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Crestview has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. As for Milton, they pushed their record up to 15-2 with that win, which was their seventh straight on the road.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crestview will challenge Impact Christian Academy at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Impact Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. Milton will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Tate at 7:30 p.m. on January 18th. Tate has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 331 points over their last five games.
