Mahtomedi has gone 8-2 against North recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Mahtomedi Zephyrs will challenge the North Polars at 6:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Saturday, Mahtomedi ended up a good deal behind Minnehaha Academy and lost 72-57.

While North didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They pulled ahead with a 58-57 photo finish over Como Park on Monday.

North pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 2.25 points across that stretch. As for Mahtomedi, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Everything went Mahtomedi's way against North when the teams last played back in March of 2024, as Mahtomedi made off with a 71-45 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mahtomedi since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
