Lawrence Came Up Big in Meadville's 35-27 Loss
Starting off the list is Meadville's Jordan Lawrence, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Lawrence rushed for 94 yards and two touchdowns. He has become a key player for Meadville: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.
Lawrence might have his next game, a home matchup with Warren, circled on his calendar. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Lawrence saw the Dragons), he rushed for 223 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.

General McLane picked up their seventh consecutive win on Thursday thanks in part to Isaac Zietz. Nobody could stop Zietz as he threw for 191 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 70 yards and a touchdown. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in November of 2023.
General McLane's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Zietz and General McLane will venture away from home to square off against Cathedral Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Cole Findlay Turns in Season-Best Performance
Oil City was led to victory by Cole Findlay, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Saturday. Findlay threw for 137 yards and three touchdowns on only six passes, and also rushed for 45 yards and a touchdown.
On the season, Findlay has thrown 15 touchdowns while averaging 160.5 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 9.63 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 29.5 rushing yards.

General McLane picked up their seventh consecutive win on Thursday thanks in part to Jacob Zietz. Zietz was unstoppable, picking up 98 receiving yards and a touchdown.
On the season, Zietz has caught 13 touchdowns while averaging 115.8 receiving yards per game.

De?Vaughn Griffin Goes Supernova in Oil City Victory
Another Oil City player making an appearance on this list is De?Vaughn Griffin. He picked up 125 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 32 yards.
Warren had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Griffin it was a similar story. Griffin rushed for 78 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Dragons duked it out back in August of 2023.
