Softball Recap: Foard Tigers vs. Parkwood Wolf Pack
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Foard had no problem doing just that on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 13-2 margin over the Parkwood Wolf Pack. The result was nothing new for Foard, who have now won 12 matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.
Karsyn Sigmon was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Sigmon has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in five consecutive pitching appearances. Sigmon was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and a stolen base.
