Softball Recap: Quaker Valley Comes Up Short

Quaker Valley fell victim to Mohawk Area and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 12-0. The Quakers haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Quaker Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elena Cindrich, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Quaker Valley now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Mohawk Area, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Coincidentally, Quaker Valley and Mohawk Area will both be playing Hopewell the next time they take the field. The Warriors will host the Vikings at 4:15 p.m. on Friday, while the Quakers will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
