Softball Recap: Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial's Undefeated Season over After Ten Games

Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial was the 7-5 winner over Le Sueur-Henderson when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights fell just short of the Giants by a score of 5-4 on Tuesday. The loss was the Knights' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial fell to 9-1. As for Le Sueur-Henderson, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial will challenge Springfield at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Le Sueur-Henderson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Agnes at 5:00 p.m. on the 8th.
