Soccer Game Preview: Lawrence vs. Lowell Catholic

The Lawrence Lancers will square off against the Lowell Catholic Crusaders at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lawrence will be strutting in after a win while Lowell Catholic will be coming in after a defeat.

While Lawrence's victory against Greater Lawrence Tech wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lancers had just enough and edged out the Reggies 2-1 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for Lawrence.

Meanwhile, after soaring to nine goals the game before, Lowell Catholic was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Arlington Catholic. The loss continues a trend for Lowell Catholic in their meetings with Arlington Catholic: they've now lost four in a row.

Lowell Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12-1. As for Lawrence, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.
