After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mercy McAuley, Springboro was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Northmont Thunderbolts. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 4th.

Springboro had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-20, 25-12, 25-20.

Bre Given paced Springboro's offense, picking up 16 kills. Given got some help from Lily Mercer and her 44 assists. Reagan Dearth and Mariana Orlow kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Springboro's record now sits at 12-5. As for Northmont, they now have a losing record of 8-9.
