Basketball Recap: Josh Poore Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Alba-Golden

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pineywoods Community Academy, Broaddus was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Alba-Golden Panthers by a score of 30-22. While the Bulldogs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-20), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Broaddus' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Josh Poore, who posted five points in addition to six boards and three steals. Another player making a difference was Ace Williams, who put up six points and five rebounds.

Broaddus has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Alba-Golden, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Broaddus didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 41-39 victory against Harts Bluff on the 12th. As for Alba-Golden, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 51-39 defeat against Bland on the 13th.
