Basketball Recap: Nichols Starts Season with Win Against Williamsville North

Nichols gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They breezed past the Williamsville North Spartans to the tune of 59-0. The Vikings pushed the score to 42-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Spartans had no chance of recovering from.

Tre Paulfrey was a one-man wrecking crew as he went 9-for-22 en route to 26 points along with seven boards and five steals. The game was his tenth in a row with at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Mitchell Masiello, who posted ten points in addition to six assists and five rebounds.
