Softball Game Preview: Plain Dealing Lions vs. Homer Pelicans

The Plain Dealing Lions will venture away from home to challenge the Homer Pelicans at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Plain Dealing has given up an average of 10.7 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Last Monday, Plain Dealing came up short against Haynesville and fell 11-7.

Meanwhile, Homer beat Jonesboro-Hodge 6-3 on Tuesday.

Plain Dealing's loss dropped their record down to 4-10-1. As for Homer, their victory bumped their record up to 2-8.

Plain Dealing skirted past Homer 28-27 in their previous matchup back in April of 2016. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
