Volleyball Recap: Woodland Takes a Loss

The Woodland Wolfpack came up short against the Newnan Cougars on Tuesday and fell 2-0.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-5.

Newnan got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Mia West out in front who had 11 assists and two aces. West is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Woodland's defeat dropped their record down to 20-10. As for Newnan, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 27-12.

Coincidentally, Woodland and Newnan will both be playing Wilson Academy the next time they take the court. The Cougars will head out to face Wilson Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wolfpack will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
