Basketball Recap: Frontier Academy Takes a Loss

Frontier Academy lost against Highland back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Frontier Academy Wolverines were dealt an 85-49 defeat at the hands of the Highland Huskies. The Wolverines were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-27.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Highland to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sawyer Morgan, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 13 boards. The contest was Morgan's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Rowdy Watson, who went 6 of 10 en route to 16 points and five steals.

Frontier Academy is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-7. As for Highland, their record is now 12-1.

Frontier Academy will be playing at home against Yuma at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Yuma will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Frontier Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Highland, they are taking a road trip to face off against Wray at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Highland is facing Wray at the right time seeing as Wray is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
