Football Recap: Upper Darby Takes a Loss

If Upper Darby was riding high fresh off their 39-15 takedown of Lower Merion back in October, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Royals fell just short of the Haverford Fords by a score of 10-7 on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Royals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 278th, while the Fords are ranked 128th).

Upper Darby's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Haverford, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Upper Darby nor Haverford have any future games scheduled.
