Soccer Game Preview: Palmetto vs. Out-of-Door Academy

The Palmetto Tigers are taking a road trip to square off against the Out-of-Door Academy Thunder at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Palmetto's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Palmetto will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Parrish Community, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. Palmetto came out on top in a nail-biter against Parrish Community on Thursday, sneaking past 1-0. That's two games straight that the Tigers have won by just one goal.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Ja'Lynn Sanders, who's now up to 23 this season.

Meanwhile, Out-of-Door Academy and Bradenton Christian finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw on Thursday.

Palmetto has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those six matches. Out-of-Door Academy's draw makes their record 5-2-2 this season.
