Football Recap: Eagle Point Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against South Eugene two weeks ago, Eagle Point came back down to earth. The Eagles fell 20-14 to the Springfield Millers on Friday. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Millers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Mason Devry threw for 96 yards and one TD.

Noah Solo had an outrageously good game for Springfield as he rushed for 200 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. Those 200 rushing yards gave Solo a new career-high.

Eagle Point's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Springfield, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Eagle Point is set to take on their familiar foe Roseburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Springfield will face off against rival Crater at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
