Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Emma Derogatis and Zoe Zbylut Lead Bellevue West to Victory

Bellevue West won the last time they faced Norfolk and things went their way on Saturday too. The Thunderbirds walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Panthers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Thunderbirds.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-16.

Leading Bellevue West to victory were Zoe Zbylut and Emma Derogatis. Zbylut had five aces and four digs, while Derogatis had 13 assists and six digs. That's the most digs Derogatis has posted over her last seven matchups.

Norfolk's loss came despite strong showings from Audrey Galyen and Georgia Kluver. Galyen had eight digs, four aces, and one block, while Kluver had 14 digs. Kluver is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Bellevue West's win bumped their record up to 10-21. As for Norfolk, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-11.
