Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bluefield). They strolled past the George Wythe Maroons with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 40-21. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Beavers considering their ten-point performance the game before.

Bluefield has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 29.8 points over those games. As for George Wythe, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Bluefield will face off against Nicholas County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for George Wythe, they will square off against Grayson County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
