Volleyball Recap: Yates Center Takes a Loss

Yates Center and St. Mary's-Colgan squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Yates Center had to settle for second. They fell 2-0 to the Panthers. The Wildcats have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-11.

Cayten Cummings paced Yates Center's offense, picking up nine kills. Cummings got some help from Madison Hall and her six assists.

Yates Center's defeat dropped their record down to 21-14. As for St. Mary's-Colgan, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 21-15 record this season.

As of now, neither Yates Center nor St. Mary's-Colgan have any future games scheduled.
