Volleyball Recap: Indio Wins Going Away Against Shadow Hills

Indio barely beat Shadow Hills the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rajahs put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Rajahs in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won seven in a row.

The victory didn't come easy: Shadow Hills scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-18, 25-23.

Anitzi Zarco produced another solid performance getting 13 digs and four assists. She has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 14 times she's played. Audra Higgins also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Indio's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Shadow Hills, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Indio has already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Hemet on the 4th. As for Shadow Hills, they will take on Borrego Springs in a tournament on Saturday.
