Soccer Game Preview: Chippewa vs. Norwayne

Chippewa hasn't had much luck against Norwayne recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Chipps will face off against the Bobcats at 1:00 p.m.

Chippewa is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Smithville on Tuesday. The Chipps took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Smithies.

Meanwhile, Norwayne kept a clean sheet against Waynedale on Saturday. They blew past the Golden Bears 6-0. Norwayne might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by three goals or more this season.

Chippewa's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Norwayne, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3-2.

Chippewa couldn't quite get it done against Norwayne in their previous matchup on September 2nd as they fell 3-1. Can the Chipps avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
