Soccer Recap: St. Anne's-Belfield Takes a Loss

St. Anne's-Belfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Collegiate Cougars, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, St. Anne's-Belfield can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 31st, while Collegiate are ranked fifth).

St. Anne's-Belfield's loss dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Collegiate, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-2-2.

Coming up, St. Anne's-Belfield will square off against The Covenant School at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Collegiate, they are taking a road trip to face off against Saint John Paul the Great Catholic at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
