Volleyball Game Preview: Tri-Valley Mustangs vs. Madison Bulldogs

Tri-Valley is 0-10 against Madison since October of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m.

On Monday, Tri-Valley came up short against West Central and fell 3-1.

Tri-Valley started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-19, 26-24, 25-23.

Madison not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 14th (when they won 3-0). They blew past Garretson 3-0. Surprisingly, this marked the Bulldogs' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Madison took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-10, 25-10.

With the victory, Madison broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 20-12. As for Tri-Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 10-14.

Tri-Valley couldn't quite get it done against Madison in their previous matchup back in September as they fell 3-1. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
