Football Recap: Munday Moguls vs. Seymour Panthers
Munday was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 38-20 to the Seymour Panthers. The Moguls lost against the Panthers in their previous head to head back in September of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 49-0 score last time.
It was another big night for Brayden Loyd, who threw for 438 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 14.1 yards per attempt for Seymour. Brason Zeissel also helped out as he racked up 133 receiving yards.
Munday's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Seymour, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-6.
Munday does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Seymour, a feisty cat fight will be fought when Panthers faces off against Archer City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Loyd and Landon Smith.
