Volleyball Game Preview: Brookings Bobcats vs. Lincoln Patriots

Brookings is 1-9 against Lincoln since October of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Bobcats will welcome the Patriots at 2:00 p.m.

Brookings came up short against Washington on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-9, 25-16.

Lincoln had won five straight games and Julia Blom did her part to make it six on Tuesday. Everything went the Patriots' way against Watertown as they made off with a 3-0 win for which the team can thank Blom, who had 15 digs. She has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last six times she's played.

Lincoln walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-19, 25-14, 25-21.

Brookings' defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Lincoln, their win bumped their record up to 14-4.
